Today, October 5, is World Teachers` Day!
World Teachers` Day has been celebrated every year on October 5 since 1994. This was proclaimed by UNESCO.
In European countries, mostly Catholic Christians, on October 5, World Teachers`Day or teacher`s day is celebrated. The Patronage Day (teacher`s day) of San José de Calasanz (Ireland, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal…) is celebrated on November 27.
Teachers are not only deducated to teaching concepts and transmitting knowledge, but also to ensuring the acquisition of other essential skills so that children and young people become responsible citizens at all levels, with the ability to adapt to world that changes quickly.
